Job Description :
RNIB is the leading UK charity for people with sight problems. Our telephone and email based eye health information service is expanding. We are looking for new team members to provide information to the public on all medical aspects of sight loss.
Your experience of working one to one with vulnerable people at a difficult time in their lives will be invaluable as will your ability to research and understand complex conditions and make the information easier to understand.
Your knowledge of a wide range of eye conditions, treatments and the support available and knowledge of the NHS and how drugs, procedures and equipment are approved within the eye health field will be essential.
You will use your excellent verbal and written communication skills to deal with complex enquiries and you will also be responsible for the writing, updating and the development of corporate information on eye conditions and their treatments.
